Lady LushI can’t believe its been about a month since I’ve listened to any drum & bass. What the hell??? Looks like I’ve devoted so much time to dubstep these days I almost forgot about my true love, liquid. For those of you unfamiliar or unaware, liquid dnb focuses more on the melodic and soulful side of the genre.

It is time to switch it up... got a lot of catching up to do, so lets see what I can find!

Bachelors of Science & Smote: So Much Love [Unsigned!?!]

To come across a collaboration between BoS & Smote as my first comeback track put a huge smile on my face. There was a comment from another fan saying that “they should join forces and become BoSS because this is magnificent!” and I couldn’t agree more. The deep vibes and classy piano with light vocals make this an instant classic for me. If this doesn’t pull at your heart strings, you might need to get that checked out.

Severity Zero: Sirocco

Perfect for a listen on a rainy summer day. This tune makes me want to play piano and daydream.

Zero 7: In The Waiting Line (S.P.Y Remix)

One of my favorite chill-out/down tempo songs has been remixed into one of the best liquid tracks of 2011. What a gem!

Happy Sunday!!
